Exceeding ECE/DOT approval, its unique Adaptive Impact System (AIS) is the result of years of collaboration with scientists around the world to create a high-performance eco-system of structural design and energy mitigating materials.
The AIS shines from the inside out, from the Impact Energy Cells in the liner, to the unique EPS system to the stunning 12K carbon fibre shell. The Impact Energy Cells include a leading-edge viscoelastic material, named RHEON, to maximize absorption of low-speed linear and rotational impacts, reducing forces transmitted to the brain. FLY’s Conehead® EPS Technology provides a softer liner whereby the cones help manage or absorb an impact force more efficiently. Six critical zones have been fine tuned for a progressive response to low-speed and high-speed impacts.
